Hotel Heliades
Welcome to Thira Island with the biggest caldera of the world
and an ancient civilization since 6000 B.C
|
 |
Thira is the official name of the island
coming from 1050 B.C., when the king Thiras reigned there. Santorini
was named later by the Venetians, in 1204 A.C.
Heliades -the daughters of the sun as per Greek mythology-
are situated on the top of the famous village of Imerovigli,
2km from the capital Fira. All the apartments, built in 2000,
are combining the traditional cycladic architecture with modern
conveniences. |
 |
 |
Each one of them with air-conditioning
a fully equipped kitchen refrigerator, private bathroom with
shower, satellite TV and daily cleaning services.
Quite near to Heliades you will find a car parking area,
a mini market and the bus stop.
|
From the private verandas of each apartment, overlooking the
volcano and the Aegean Sea, you will enjoy the fascinating sunsets
of Santorini and experience this unique beauty.
|
 |
 |
The island is like a mermaid in the middle of the sea among
the myths of Atlantis the Argonauts and the Giant Talos.
Heliades is the ideal place to live in this atmosphere and
enjoy a fantastic time.
